Guardians of the
Miami Marine Community
Our Mission
The Marine Council is a not-for-profit trade association whose mission is to serve as The Guardian of the Marine Community in Miami-Dade County. Given the many challenges that marine interests now face – this mission is even more important today than it was when the Marine Council was founded more than 55 years ago.
While its membership represents all facets of the local marine community, the Marine Council’s primary focus is on the recreational marine industry where it remains the leading advocacy group for recreational boating interests in Miami-Dade County.
